Dolce Far Niente
파운드리 서울은 큐레이터 이리나 스타크(Irina Stark)와 공동으로 기획한 그룹전 《Dolce Far Niente》를 선보입니다. ‘아무것도 하지 않음의 달콤함(the sweetness of doing nothing)’이라는 이탈리아의 개념에서 영감을 받은 본 전시는 무위(無爲)의 아름다움과 그저 존재하는 기쁨을 조명합니다. 서로 다른 매체와 배경에서 활동하는 11명의 작가를 소개하는 이번 전시는 관람객이 잠시 멈추어 시간과 존재, 그리고 목적에 대한 감각을 새롭게 사유하도록 이끌며, 고요함 그 자체가 지닌 깊이를 스스로 맞이하도록 초대합니다.
FOUNDRY SEOUL is pleased to present Dolce Far Niente, a group exhibition celebrating the beauty of idleness and the joy of simply being, curated in cooperation with Los Angeles-based advisor and curator Irina Stark. Drawing inspiration from the Italian notion of “the sweetness of doing nothing,” Dolce Far Niente brings together eleven artists from diverse cultural backgrounds working across a wide range of media, inviting visitors to slow down and reconsider their relationship with time, presence, and purpose. In a world obsessed with motion and achievement, Dolce Far Niente is a reminder that there is profound meaning in stillness—and that doing nothing can, in fact, be everything.
