Frieze London 2026
파운드리 서울과 까사 트리앙글루(Casa Triângulo)는 프리즈 런던 2026에서 페르난다 갈바오(Fernanda Galvão, b. 1994)의 솔로 프레젠테이션 《Shell Winds》를 공동으로 선보인다. 갈바오는 브라질 상파울루 출생으로, 현재 프랑스 파리를 기반으로 활동하고 있다.
두 갤러리는 2022년부터 긴밀한 협업을 이어오며 갈바오의 작업을 다양한 지역에 걸쳐 소개해왔다. 이번 공동 프레젠테이션은 파운드리 서울의 첫 프리즈 런던 참가로, 작가의 국제적 활동을 함께 확장해 나가고 있는 두 갤러리의 견고한 파트너십을 보여준다.
갈바오의 신작을 선보이는 《Shell Winds》는 강렬한 색채와 파편화된 기억, 그리고 다양한 시간성이 교차하는 사변적 환경을 구축한다. 생물학과 신체를 구성하는 물질, 그리고 풍경에 대한 경험에서 출발한 작품들은 각기 고유한 내적 논리에 따라 작동하는 독자적인 환경을 형성한다. 높은 채도의 색채와 변화하는 형태, 겹겹이 쌓인 표면을 통해 땅과 바다, 하늘의 경계는 흐려지고, 하나의 화면 안에서 서로 다른 시간성과 대기적 조건이 공존한다.
FOUNDRY SEOUL and Casa Triângulo are pleased to present Shell Winds, a solo presentation by Fernanda Galvão (b. 1994) at Frieze London 2026. Born in São Paulo, Galvão currently lives and works in Paris.
Since 2022, the two galleries have closely collaborated to promote Galvão’s work across different continents. Their joint presentation at Frieze London marks FOUNDRY SEOUL’s debut and Casa Triângulo’s return to the fair, demonstrating a sustained partnership dedicated to furthering the artist’s international recognition.
Shell Winds features a new body of paintings in which Galvão constructs speculative environments shaped by chromatic intensity, fragmented memories, and varying temporalities. Drawing from biology, bodily matter, and the experience of landscape, the works develop autonomous environments governed by their own internal logic. Through saturated color, shifting forms, and layered surfaces, boundaries between land, sea, and sky dissolve, allowing multiple temporalities and atmospheric conditions to coexist within a single pictorial field.
